Most glitter bags use a coating or layer applied to the outside of the material — which is why they shed. Ours starts differently: the holographic frost particles are part of the PVC itself, suspended within the material rather than sitting on its surface. When light hits the bag, it travels through the transparent PVC and refracts off the embedded frost particles in all directions.
The effect is softer and more dimensional than surface-applied glitter — less like a disco ball, more like light through frosted glass that happens to be prismatic. The glossy PVC finish amplifies it further, giving the surface a clean, polished look with the sparkle.

This is the one thing every PVC bag owner needs to know: PVC is sensitive to high temperatures. Heat can warp the material, distort the shape, and permanently damage the gloss finish. It doesn’t take extreme conditions — a car interior in summer sun is enough.

- Avoid storing in a hot car for extended periods — trunk temperatures in summer can exceed safe limits for PVC

Standard clear bag policies require full transparency. Our clear frost style is the closest to meeting this — the base is transparent PVC. Tinted colors reduce transparency and are less likely to pass a strict clear bag policy. Why is PVC sensitive to heat, and how careful do I need to be?
PVC softens at elevated temperatures — typically above 60°C (140°F). In practice, the main risk is leaving the bag in a hot car, especially on a dashboard or back shelf in direct summer sun. Under those conditions the material can warp or lose its shape. Normal indoor use, including warm weather wear, is not a problem. Just avoid prolonged heat exposure.
